All Tsutsuji, All the Time

24 February
I was an elementary school teacher, which I do to feed myself on my way to winning the Nobel Prize for literature, but am currently home with my children. I'm also an author. I currently tutor, but previously I taught first grade and kindergarten. I like writing, video games, cooking, art, theater, crafting, gardening, Dungeons and Dragons, nail art, any kind of swords, etc. I have a husband named Aki, two daughters, and two novels in progress.

I write short stories; especially horror. To read my work:

Year's End (my story is "Midnight Whisper") http://store.untreedreads.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_79&products_id=722

Shock Totem Volume 9: http://www.amazon.com/Shock-Totem-Curious-Macabre-Twisted/dp/0986274801/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427425117&sr=8-1&keywords=shock+totem+9

For those of you wondering, "tsutsuji" is Japanese for azalea. Azaleas are beautiful, but are highly toxic when consumed. I always found it a most interesting blend.

Favorite stuff:

Authors: Stephen King, Ann Rule, and I have a thing for classical literature and mythology. As for poets, I like Wilfred Owen, TS Eliot and Octavio Paz

Video games: Final Fantasy, Genso Suikoden, Silent Hill, Seiken Densetsu, Fatal Frame

Manga: Fushigi Yuugi, Battle Royale, Vagabond, Kenshin, and I love Batman comics

Anime: Fushigi Yuugi, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin
